THANKSGIVING INGREDIENTS & REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 140°C and reheat for time indicated below.

For microwave ovens move to microwave safe ware to reheat.

Your meal is made from fresh ingredients without preservatives and comes pre-cooked and chilled. Keep food refrigerated until about 1 hour before you plan to heat and serve. Left-overs can be enjoyed up to five days or frozen for up to a month.

 

WHOLE TURKEY

INGREDIENTS: Fresh herbs, onion, garlic, orange, butter, maple syrup, honey, salt, sugar, peppercorns, allspice, mustard seed, caraway seed, anise, cinnamon, ginger. Gluten free.

INSTRUCTIONS: Whole turkeys are cooked the same day as delivery and can be served warm or re-heated. Remove from refrigeration at least an hour before serving. To heat, loosely cover with aluminum foil and place on rack in the center of oven preheated to 140°C for 25-30 minutes. 


TURKEY ENTRÉE

INGREDIENTS: Fresh herbs, onion, garlic, orange, butter, maple syrup, honey, salt, sugar, peppercorns, allspice, mustard seed, caraway seed, anise, cinnamon, ginger. Gluten free.

INSTRUCTIONS: 12-15 minutes in a preheated 140°C oven. For microwave, move to microwave safe ware and heat at medium for 1 minute, turn and heat again at intervals until desired temperature.


AUTUMN SQUASH ENTRÉE

INGREDIENTS: Squash, quinoa, apples, cranberries, cheddar, walnuts, maple, butter. Vegan option: sub oil for butter.

INSTUCTIONS: 12-15 minutes in the oven at 140°C, or move to microwave safe ware and heat on high for 2-4 minutes.


TURKEY BONE BROTH GRAVY

INGREDIENTS: Broth of turkey, chicken and beef bones, carrot, leak, celery, onion, garlic, red wine, bay leaves, thyme, sage, olive oil, flour, corn starch, salt, pepper.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BAG: Bring pot of water to a boil, heat gravy bag 8 to 10 minutes stovetop. For microwave place in microwave safe serving dish and cook on medium for 2 minutes, stir and return for another minute.


WILD MUSHROOM GRAVY

INGREDIENTS: Mushrooms, carrot, leak, celery, onion, garlic, red wine, soy sauce, coconut milk, olive oil, flour, rosemary, sage, thyme, mustard, salt, pepper. Vegan.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BAG: Bring pot of water to a boil, heat gravy bag 8 to 10 minutes stovetop. For microwave place in microwave safe serving dish and cook on medium for 2 minutes, stir and return for another minute.


SOURDOUGH STUFFING

INGREDIENTS: Bread, onion, celery, garlic, vegetable broth, butter, olive oil, eggs, fresh herbs, salt, pepper.

VEGAN: Bread, onion, celery, garlic, vegetable broth, olive oil, fresh herbs, salt, pepper.

Remove garnish, place in oven for about 10 minutes or move to microwave safe ware and heat for 2 to 4 minutes. Use garnish to serve.


WHIPPED POTATOES

INGREDIENTS: Potatoes, butter, cream, milk, cheese, salt, pepper.

VEGAN: Potatoes, flour, oat milk, salt pepper.

Reheat in the oven at 140°C for 12-15 minutes, mix and serve. Or move to microwave safe ware and heat on high for 2 minutes, mix and return for 2 more minutes.


MAPLE GLAZED CARROTS

INGREDIENTS: Carrots, butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, white wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt.

VEGAN: Carrots, butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, white wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt.

Carrots can be reheated for 10 minutes, and then a minute under the broiler to caramelize if desired, or move to microwave safe ware and heat for 2 minutes.


GREEN BEANS

INGREDIENTS: Green beans, milk, flour, butter, salt, pepper. ONIONS: Onion, palm oil, flour, salt.

VEGAN: Green beans, flour, oat milk, olive oil, salt, pepper. ONIONS: Onion, palm oil, flour, salt.

Reheat beans in the oven at 140°C for 12-15 minutes, mix, top with onions and serve. Or move to microwave safe ware and heat on high for 3 minutes.


BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH PANCETTA

INGREDIENTS: Brussels sprouts, pancetta, butter, olive oil, salt.

INSTRUCTIONS: Place open aluminum package in a 140°C for 5-7 minutes, then broil for one minute on top shelf of oven. Or move to microwave safe ware and heat on high for 2-3 minutes.


MAC & CHEESE

INGREDIENTS: Pasta, gruyere, cheddar, parmesan, milk, butter, flour, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, pepper.

Heat covered with aluminum foil in oven at 140°C for 10-15 minutes, mix and serve, or move to microwave safe ware and heat for 2-4 minutes and mix. 


PRALINE SWEET POTATOES

INGREDIENTS: Sweet potatoes, pecans, brown sugar, vanilla, lemon, salt. Vegan.

Place in oven at 140°C and heat for 10-12 minutes, enjoy. For microwave, move to microwave safe ware and heat for 2-4 minutes. 


BISCUITS

INGREDIENTS: Butter, flour, buttermilk, baking powder, salt.

Place in warm 140°C oven for 2-3 minutes, or toast for 2 minutes. Brush with a bit of melted honey butter as soon as they come out of the oven.


HONEY BOURBON BUTTER

INGREDIENTS: Butter, honey, bourbon salt.

Serve at room temperature. 


CRANBERRY ORANGE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS: Cranberries, orange, sugar, salt. Vegan and gluten free.

Serve at room temperature.


APPLE PIE

INGREDIENTS: Apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, butter, lemon, salt.

Can be served room temperature or warmed at 120°C for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut down the side of aluminum to move to a serving plate, slice and serve.


VEGAN APPLE PIE

INGREDIENTS: Apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, coconut oil, lemon, salt.

Can be served room temperature or warmed at 120°C for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut down the side of aluminum to move to a serving plate, slice and serve.


PUMPKIN PIE

INGREDIENTS: PIE: Pumpkin, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cream, eggs, butter, flour. cider vinegar, salt.

Slice and serve at desired temperature.
